Named After Wing+Weft Glove Technician Bebe - a woman who is the most accomplished glove technician in America. Over the course of her 38-year career, she has made over a million pairs of gloves, self-taught as she started working in our predecessor's predecessor's (La Bouvier) glove factory and slowly began to learn all the steps of making gloves until she was the only employee to hold such knowledge, smartly she made herself indispensable and in the meantime devoted her life to glove making in New York City. A single mom who worked hard to build a life for herself and two beautiful children, a testament to a beautiful New York career as a Garment District Worker.
